I like the Chessex trays as well...except...they tend to pop scattering the pieces everywhere, and they are difficult to open in the box. These fit in the box, and can be opened in the box. They also seem to hold more pieces than the Chessex trays. I am concerned that the lid could come loose if the box were stored on its end. Still, these are a very good deal at a very reasonable price.

I used these for Carthage today. Two trays fitted all four counter sheets, held the counters securely, and fitted cleanly in the box despite the large number of player aid cards Carthage has. EDIT: June 2009-I have since used these for about half my games, and they work very well. Sometimes the box isn't large enough to hold all the necessary counter trays-I've found that one tray can hold no more than two sheets, so they are impractical for Men of Iron (which has an unusually thin box) or Great War in Europe (five sheets, not including replacements, and a regular-sized box.)
