It's World Boardgaming Championships time, and this week Andy, Tony, and Mark are all at WBC helping with tournaments, running our booth, and playing a bunch of games with our customers. This is a really fun convention for us, and we love getting to see so many of you from around the world and making and renewing friendships. In addition to our three "Insiders" above, we have a BUNCH of designers and developers at WBC doing a variety of things - running tournaments, demoing new games, helping out with the booth here and there, etc. So I hope you guys got a chance to attend this year, and if not, I encourage you to put it on your calendar for the future. Don and the WBC board put on a GREAT show, and you'll meet some of the best players from around the world and get a chance to choose from hundreds of games to play in a very friendly environment.
Fire in the Lake
It's been a while since a new P500 has generated as much interest, orders, and online conversation as last month's new P500 addition, Fire in the Lake, designed by Volko Ruhnke and Mark Herman. It's garnered over 750 orders in a month and a half, so I think it's safe to say you'll see this one added to our production queue just as soon as Mark and Volko and Mike and the testers say it's finished. By the way, if you would like to work with our team as a playtester for this game, just drop a note to Mike Bertucelli (COIN series developer) and let him know you're interested. Mike's e-mail is [email protected].
If you want to keep up with development from afar, Mark and Volko and various team member post fairly regular updates, AARs, session reports, illustrated examples of play, etc, on both Consimworld and BGG. Here are links to those discussion areas, for those of you who'd like to check in and keep up with the latest:

Thanks to all of you who have ordered Fire in the Lake to date, for helping us get off to a tremendous P500 start!

Talk with Us Online
Virtually all of our team members are online everyday in various venues (especially Consimworld and BGG), so if you have questions or comments about our games, we invite you to visit the game-specific pages on those sites to talk with designers, developers, and other players of the game(s) you are interested in.
We also have an official GMT presence, where you'll find official GMT news, in the following main places online. The first four are general news and conversation sites, aimed at giving us a presence among several different social media sites that cater to different groups of people. The YouTube channel, run by Joel Toppen, is where you'll find videos of a bunch of our games, including several series' of "how to play x game".

6. Chat from the GMT Website: If you have an issue with an order or anything that requires talking to our customer support ladies at the office, please feel free to go to our website and use the Online Chat (top right corner of any page). That will get you to one of our office ladies very quickly. Note though, that Chat is only open 7AM to 4 PM Pacific time - when the ladies are in the office.

Counter Trays Back in Stock!
OK, this time they REALLY ARE in the warehouse! Sorry for the delay last time - the shipment showed up a few days late and we had some customers who weren't all that happy with us. Sorry, that was my fault as I should have been clearer in my note. But we DO have them now.
So, if you've been waiting to get some additional counter trays, they're available in sets of 10 for $20 + shipping now on our website. Just click the link below:

CC: Europe Added to the P500 Reprint List
As Tony and I discuss reprint plans for later this year and early 2014 (we have a LOT of good games out of stock right now), we're looking at several criteria: sales growth track up until the game sold out, whether the game is part of a key series for us, what is demand from distributors, and do our customers want it reprinted, based on feedback and P500 reprint orders.
We've just added Combat Commander Europe to the P500 Reprint List, as that is a game we can't afford to have out of stock for long. If you'd like to pick up the 2014 reprint edition of the game, here's the link to place your pre-order:

New Mounted Map Options on P500
Here's an update on orders for the Mounted Maps we're looking to produce for several of our popular games. Remember, we need to get about 200 orders per title before we can print these maps profitably at these low P500 prices. And we don't intend to print extras, unless the printers just happen to send us some "overs", so if you want to get one of these, please pre-order, as it won't be available from game stores or probably even from us except as a pre-order item.
If you'd like to order a mounted map for any of these games, you can click any of the links below and that will take you to the P500 order page for that item. Thanks for making your P500 orders soon so we can get these printed and out to you as soon as possible.
Here are the maps we are wanting to produce, along with order totals and a +/- tracking orders since last month:
Stalin's War 161 orders (+0)
Bomber Command 139 orders (+15)
(Note that this is a two-sided mounted map)
Mr. Madison's War 116 orders (+15)
